Neal Martin writes:  The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent Les Michèlons has a composed and focused bouquet: well-defined redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit, a touch of rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and fine acidity. Quite taut and focused but it tapers towards the end. Drink over the next 6-8 years. - Vinous

Winemaker Notes:

Owner of a few hectares of vines planted in 1911 and 1950 on the Moulin-à-vent cru, Yohan Lardy first learned the ropes in Chile, on a biodynamic-run estate. Mr. Lardy still favours a chemical-free winemaking approach to ensure wines can better reveal their terroir. Expressing undeniable strawberry and raspberry notes, it also offers floral and spicy notes on the palate. The texture is fine, caressing and the tannins, moderately fleshy. Beautiful Gamay.
