Alison Napjus writes:  A minerally Champagne, with smoke and brine notes underscoring crunchy green apple, black raspberry, brioche and marzipan flavors. The bright finish is driven by firm, lemony acidity. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged June 2022. Drink now through 2026.  - Wine Spectator 92

William Kelley writes:  The latest release of Ployez-Jacquemart's emblematic NV Extra Quality Brut was disgorged with around five grams per liter dosage after three years on the lees. Mingling aromas of orange oil and fresh peach with hints of brioche and smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a tightly wound core, racy acids and a dry, chalky finish. It will show even better after an additional year or two on cork.  - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 90

Antonio Galloni writes:  The NV Brut Extra Quality is a pleasant, easygoing Champagne to drink now and over the next handful of years. There’s good depth to the mid-palate, but also some angularity in the contours, perhaps from the lots that go into this bottling and/or dosage that feels too low. Citrus peel, dried flowers, chamomile, and herbs linger. Disgorged June 27, 2022.  - Vinous

Eric Asimov writes:  (Reviewed December 27, 2022) This small family producer makes fine Champagnes that seem simultaneously rich and delicately textured. The Extra Quality Brut is the entry-level bottle, a blend of 50 percent chardonnay along with 25 percent each of pinot noir and pinot meunier. It’s creamy and saline, with aromas and flavors of citrus and flowers.  - New York Times
