Lapsang Souchoung is a mature, broad leaf tea with a silky and luxurious smoky profile, achieved through processing over a pinewood fire. The result is a silky, luxurious, unapologetically smokey profile. The tea has a velvety texture with nuanced tones of conifer, peat, sorghum, and a lactic finish. It pairs well with cereal grains, wild fungi, bloody steaks, or anything complementing a stiff plug of scotch. Best served at red wine temperature, preferably enjoyed on a bearskin rug or vegan alternative.
