Named after the Strada Provinciale 68 that runs through Vittoria in southern Sicily, this wine is a tribute to the peasant farmers who have traveled that road for three thousand years, carrying the fruit of their labor, fatigue, and joy in amphoras and barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade from Zibibbo (Moscato di Alessandria) and Albanello grown in vineyards averaging 15 years of age, situated 280 metres above sea level on soils of red sand and limestone. The estate is farmed organically and biodynamically, without chemicals, with grapes harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts.
