Canopus Pintom Pet Nat Metodo Ancestral Valle de Uco 2022 750ml

Winemaker Description 

Petnat is a Pinot Noir wine with fine bubbles. Light, sharp, and flavorful, this wine is a Petillant Natural, made using the ancestral method. Frisante and with a light texture on the palate, Pintom Petnat has lively acidity and a combination of aromas and flavors that include pink grapefruit, citrus notes, and white flowers.

The bubbly Pintom is a low-alcohol wine suitable for aperitifs, to lighten desserts, and to finish the bottle without realizing it. The Pinot Noir grapes come from the estates neighboring Canopus in Pampa El Cepillo.

Pintom Pet Nat comes from north-facing, younger vine Pinot Noir. After a harvest by hand, the grapes got a few hours of skin contact and were then pressed and fermented in concrete with native yeasts. 

The wine was bottled with 15 grams of sugar a la methode ancestrale or petillant naturel. 2022 was another very successful vintage in this part of Mendoza, and the quality of fruit was very high.
