Jeb Dunnuck writes:  Another outstanding effort from this estate is the NV Brut Reserve. Lightly hued with a crisp bouquet of crushed citrus, golden apples, and toasted brioche, it has medium-bodied richness, crisp acids, a great mousse, and shows a clean, precise vibe on the finish. It brings serious acidity yet still stays nicely balanced. It’s going to evolve for a solid decade.  - Jeb Dunnuck 90

Stuart Pigott writes:  Interesting nose of caramelized pear, mirabelle tart and coffee beans, then plenty of red berry fruit character accentuating that on the rather rich, creamy palate. Long, very harmonious finish. Drink now.  - James Suckling 92

Simon Field MWTim Hall, Anne Krebiehl MW write:  An attractive nose of butterscotch and gingerbread. Hints of honey and red apples on the palate with a hint of yeastiness, refreshing with a lemony finish.  - Decanter 90

Alison Napjus writes:  There's a chalky edge to the flavors of crunchy green pear, chopped almond, lemon pith and spring blossoms on display in this firm Champagne. Moderate finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Drink now.   - Wine Spectator

Brut Reserve is the best reflection of the Palmer style. It is a very subtle blend of approximately 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier.

Elaborated from a reference grape harvest (the base note) the cuvee contains an important proportion of reserve wines of up to five years of age. These spices from the past give Brut Reserve a rare plenitude and maturity.
