Wine Advocate 94 Points: Disgorged in January 2020 with two grams per liter dosage, Larmandier-Bernier's NV Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée (2017 base) is the newest release. It shows very nicely, bursting with aromas of orange, raspberries, cherries and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and incisive, its pretty and expressive fruit tones are complemented by racy acids and a pillowy mousse. — William Kelley
James Suckling 93 Points: A blend of pinot noir with 10-15% pinot gris, co-planted ten years ago, in amongst 45-year-old vines. The nose is very floral with papaya and pink grapefruit, some praline and fresh, rose-like florals. The palate has the same hit of fragrant roses with plenty of peaches and a silky, smoothly textural palate. The entire parcel is macerated for between three and four days, for texture more than color. Very unique. Drink now.
Vinous 95 Points: The NV (2016) Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée is a classy, gorgeous wine. Bright, sculpted and finely chiseled, the 2016 has so much to offer. Chalk, mint, white pepper and crushed rocks perk up the red berry fruit. Sweet floral notes emerge with a bit of time in the glass. In this vintage, the Rosé is wonderfully translucent and so expressive. The NV Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir from 45-50 year-old vines in Vertus, done in steel. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: January, 2020. — Antonio Galloni
