Expert Ratings
James Suckling 91 Points | Plenty of sweet tobacco with some wet-earth and blackcurrant aromas that follow through to a full body with chewy tannins and lots of fruit and structure at the end. 34% cabernet sauvignon, 33% cabernet franc and 33% merlot. Better after 2023. (2018).
Robert Parker Luis Gutiérrez 90 Points | The 2018 Finca Libertad blends approximately equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and it's very peppery and minty, balsamic with high ripeness but also freshness, quite classical with dusty, fine-grained tannins and an austere mouthfeel. (2018).
Decanter Alistair Cooper MW | Vibrant blue fruit, garrigue, red berries and spice. On the palate it is ripe and juicy underpinned by firm fine grain tannins.
